Inspired by the cultural energy surrounding the 2026 World Cup, I created Joga Bonito as an editorial exploration of football beyond the pitch. The magazine examines how the sport influences fashion, identity, photography, and global culture, including football’s relationship with designer brands and streetwear as well as the visual identities surrounding players, supporters, and past eras of the game.

I researched historical moments, traced references back to their original context, and sourced archival photography to build each story around strong information and imagery. I then developed the magazine’s grid system, typography, pacing, and layouts to turn that research into a cohesive editorial narrative. Joga Bonito demonstrates my ability to move from cultural research and art direction to a fully realized publication.
